Performance assessment
1.1 What is performance assessment?
Performance assessment is the ‘regular and systematic review of
performance and the assessment of potential with the aim of
producing action programmes to develop both work and individuals’.
Assessment criteria may include the following:
Volume of work produced
Knowledge of work
Quality of work
Management skills
Personal skills
