TIPS TO PREPARE
YOURSELF FOR
YOUR ENGLISH
CERTIFICATION
1. READ ENGLISH BOOKS: Read texts in the language can
help you in the previous months before giving the exam to
extend your vocabulary in the language.
2. KNOW THE DIFFERENT ACCENTS: This will help you
when you have to pay the listening. Learning different
accents will help sharpen your ear and be prepared to listen
an understand any English speaker.
3. THINKING IN ENGLISH: To communicate effectively in
English you don’t have to translate terms, but think English.
4. KNOW THE LOGIC OF THE EXAM: Get a study manual
or someone who will advise you to know what the exam is
and what each exercise points out to know what skills you
need to strengthen and in which areas you need to look
more.
5. LEAVE YOUR NERVES ASIDE: Do not let anxiety and
nerves paralyze them you, as they may play a bad pass on
the day of the exam.
