P. 100
Our webinar focused on the problem virtually all clubs faced and suggested a
simple solution they can use to increase sales. It went like this...
The benefits of working with a good trainer far outweigh the cost to the client.
The client receives the expertise, knowledge, motivation, accountability and in
some cases, a kick in the ass and a pat on the back. In return you pay them their
fee and you hit your goals faster and easier than you can on your own.
The problem is in the fact that the PT’s (personal trainers) don’t want to sell
anything; despite it not even being an easy sale to make! After all, personal
trainers are certified, accredited and educated. Unfortunately, many believe
selling is ‘beneath them’. They didn’t go through all that schooling to become a
sales person.
Sound familiar? Do you have people on your team that feel that same way about
bringing in new business and selling?
Let’s face it, we’re all salespeople. Every conversation is a sale.
Whenever two people are communicating one is buying and one is selling. One is
talking and one is listening. Which one is selling? If you said the guy talking -
you’re wrong! The one who is listening is selling.
