The first thing you have to understand about closing sales is there is no reason not
to make a sale the first time someone comes into your business. Most of them
came in for a specific reason - if you own a music store, they probably aren’t
coming in looking for a new washer and dryer.
Your job is to make them feel comfortable and welcome and to make yourself
available to answer any questions.
The NUMBER ONE way to increase your sales is… (drum roll here) ASK for the
business. All too often the person in charge of the sale was afraid of just plain
asking for the business.
