All the clubs in my Region were very actively involved in Lion Prakasan Kani MJF
service activities . The opening membership which was
427 rose to 463 with the addition of 36 new members.11 Zone Chairpersons
members have been enrolled as MJFs. Lions Quest was Zone A Lion E Mohanan
conducted by 3 clubs, namely LC Calicut, LC Zone B Lion Sebastian Varghese
Kunnamangalam and Kozhikode Nanma. LC Calicut, LC
Calicut North, LC Calicut Daffodils, LC Calicut Green I am presenting a brief report of the activities of my
City, LC Calicut Town, LC Kozhikode Nanma, LC region . The opening membership as on 1st July was 328
Kozhikode Feroke, LC Kunnamnagalam, LC Mukkom and as on date it is 350, registering a net growth of 22
Town and LC Mukkom East completed Centennial members. 4 members enrolled as MJFs . Contribution to
Projects. Except LC Mukkom Town and LC Mukkom Community Marriage were done by LC Iritty,LC
East, all the other clubs mentioned above conducted Sight Kuthuparamba and LC Mambaram and members from LC
First and SFK programmes. Kidney Care Camps were Iritty ,LC Kuthuparamba and LC Peravoor participated in
organized by LC Kunnamangalam, LC Mukkom Town, Sargasangamam. There were participation for Centennial
LC Calicut Daffodils and Calicut Green City. During Celebrations and National Integration and Communal
Lions Service Week, service projects were conducted by Harmony Rally by all the clubs. Regional Level Service
all those clubs which have completed Centennial Projects Week was also conducted by all the clubs. LC Mambaram,
mentioned above except LC Mukkom East. All clubs LC Panoor and LC Kuthuparamba conducted SFK
participated in Sargasangamam and Centennial Programme. Children's Day was celebrated by LC
Celebrations. Iritty,LC Iritty High Range,LC Kuthuparamba,LC
Other major projects by clubs are the Silver Jubilee Project Mambaram and LC Panoor. Kidney Care Camps were
of Kozhikode Feroke - construction of a building for conducted by LC Kuthuparamba, LC Iritty & LC Panoor.
Palliative Care Centre at Feroke costing around Rs. 12 Lions Quest was organized by LC Kuthuparamba and LC
Lakhs and maintenance of the prestigeous Lions Park at Vallithode conducted Home for Homeless project.
Calicut Beach by Lions Club Of Calicut. Apart from LC LC Kuthuparamba conducted LIONS FEST as part of the
