Convener's Note

The success of Bhavan Vidyalaya, Panchkula’s Parliamentary Debate Championship is a recipe

with three steps.
1. From the naughtiest tomato to the cutest potato, we choose and sort our vegetables and fruits
and baskets to work, to show, to feed, to lift, to give strength.
We make the perfect organising committee.
2. We set the stove afire, we stir and boil, we raise and we fall, we cool down, we brew and then

rises the ideal fragrance of the morning eye-opener.
We give a wrestle – a quality debate.
3. So now, we carve the cups, serve the plates, polish the silver, check the hem of the table cloth

and we bathe it all in satisfaction and content.
Architects and craftsmen are the exquisite crystals, we provide the priceless memories.
Five years ago, few of our Bhavanites had a tryst with the art of debating. Today five years later,
we bring you the calm breeze and the stormy events from the best mentors, the best adjudicators
and the best organizing committee. With the idea of “All eyes open, all hands in” – I give you
