DAY 3 The Cresset

JULY 23, FRIDAY

.After the end of preliminary rounds and
octa -finals on the previous day, the final
day of BVP PDC 2017 started with the

recognised teams competing in the quarter
finals. The motions for this round were
global affairs related, including topics such
as Japan's possession of nuclear
weapons. The round ended wit four teams

moving to the semi finals which revolved
around the theme of politics. The
debatable topics such as the banning of
death penalty and communism over

democracy saw some mesmerizing
arguments with all the teams using every
corner of their brains to come up with
analytical arguments. The final debate

between the most able teams was
observed not only by the adjudicators but
also the school management, Madam
Principal, teachers and participants who

were a part of the event for the three days.
The event concluded with a closing
ceremony which included cultural
performance and prize distribution

ceremony.
