                    Control Sheet Instructions

                    Control sheet notes will contain useful information for your interviewing campaign:

                       ·  Relationship manager name:  We have identified several accounts with the goal
                           of providing extra attention from GA.  Each of these accounts is assigned to
                           either Jennifer Litwin or Will Llamas, and you’ll be able to work with them to
                           cement the relationship with these important buy side clients.  Your control
                           sheets will call out the relationship manager name for any of these accounts.
                       ·  Hedge Fund:  please let us know if you have any hedge funds that do not have
                           this note!
                       ·  Recording instructions: will appear for every account.  All interviews should be
                           recorded, and GA will transcribe open-ends.
                       ·  Institution Type
                       ·  Priority: Priorities are our most wanted accounts, please pay particular attention
                           to these as there is additional focus on these names.
                       ·  Positive Client Outreach – will be indicated on the control sheet

                    This year, if a Buy-Side Client suggests that they can do another interview, please
                    complete, record, and complete it. We will examine the data to determine eligibility for
                    the program.

                    Recording Instructions
                    Recorded interviews have become more valuable to GA for a number of reasons.
                    First, we are able to more easily verify trading volumes and other important
                    information. Second, we can have interviews transcribed in an effort to get more
                    detailed commentary to dealers.  Finally, when GA is able to transcribe an interview, it
                    allows the interviewer team to focus on the interview, without the distraction of having
                    to type out the open-ended commentary.

                       ·  Develop a simple, rehearsed statement to go through, such as “In order to save
                           time during this interview, and since you talk faster than I can write, I’d like to
                           record this conversation.”
                       ·  In most facilities, more than half of the EI team is able to record over 90% of
                           their interviews.  We’ll be closely monitoring these numbers during NAFIF, and
                           will again be distributing a $250 bonus for 90% or higher recording rate.
