4.24 What Disciplinary Actions may be taken for
violation of SEKO’s policies?
Disciplinary action for violation of any of the policies or provisions of this Handbook may include,
but is not limited to, termination, suspension, demotion or transfer of the offending employee. In
cases involving less serious violations, disciplinary action may consist of a warning or reprimand.
Remedial action may also include coaching, changes in work assignments, changes in level of
responsibility of tasks assigned, changes in compensation, or other measures designed to prevent
future misconduct. The measure of discipline will correspond to the gravity of the offense as
weighed by its potential effect on SEKO and its employees.
4.25 What if SEKO’s policies are inconsistent with
Other Laws in the state or country in which you reside?
SEKO recognizes that the laws regarding the policies of this Handbook may vary depending
upon the state or country in which you are employed. Any policy set forth in this Handbook
which is inconsistent with, prohibited by or not enforceable in accordance with any state or
country law is hereby automatically amended with respect to such state or country law, to the
extent required to make such policy in compliance with and enforceable in such state or country.
