About Dana Norman
Given that we have mutual professional contacts and my referral to the BBCOA Board by
Benjamen Heatherington of The Club At Barefoot Beach, you already know of my proven
marketing success in the Barefoot Beach community. What you don’t know is that I spent four
years at Florida Gulf Coast University studying Chemistry and Philosophy.
This is quite the stretch from marketing, I know. But my passions for marketing and film
production slightly outweighed my interest in Chemistry. Largely, I decided against a career
in medicine due to the lifestyle restraints this professional field required. Plus, I have a knack
for creative expression and there are severe limitations to creativity while performing brain
surgery.
If you’re wondering where my courage to become a sole proprietor came from, I can attribute
this factor to my family. I watched my parents and grandparents pour their heart and soul into
managing their family owned golf course, Old Hickory Golf Course and Links Restaurant, in
Greencastle, Indiana. From eight years old and on, my family emphasized the importance of
connecting with people as it improves your chance of success of your business (your baby).
Ultimately, my childhood, collegiate studies and professional experience have led me to
focus heavily on building a rapport with my clients, just like I have with you. I am greatly
appreciative of this opportunity to present my services to you all, and sincerely want the best
outcome for your upcoming project.
