Ingredients
4 lean beef tenderloin steaks or fillet
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Olive oil
2 teaspoons ginger & garlic
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper
2 tablespoons low-sodium soy sauce
1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
Assorted vegetables
Directions
Fillet
Sprinkle both sides evenly with salt and papper
Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat
Coat pan with cooking spray
Add steaks to pan; cook for 3 minutes on each side or until steaks are done
according to preference (rare, medium, well)
Remove from pan to a plate but keep warm
Balsamic glaze
