Phil Urwin is a planner and scheduler with 20 years of experience in trades, management
and project controls. He is an expert in the field of delay and disruption and has acted as both
assistant expert and as appointed expert in this field. Phil’s deep understanding of critical
path method (CPM) scheduling, coupled with his boots on the ground experience in planning
and building projects, provides a solid basis for his expertise in this field.
Phil has provided expert opinion for disputed projects resolved through negotiation, dispute
review boards, and mediation. He has also acted as assistant expert on multiple disputes in
litigation and arbitration, both domestically and internationally. In addition to forensic and
expert work, he continues to provide project controls services on active projects and is a
project controls auditor for the Panama Canal Authority.

Christopher has more than 36 years of extensive experience covering a broad range of
civil, environmental, geotechnical engineering and construction management issues. His
expertise includes strategic planning, project management, resident engineering, project
review, scheduling and coordination. Christopher has also been active in the development of
various facilities and resorts in alpine environment of the western United States. In addition,
his projects include airfields, pavement management systems, massive embankment
projects, heavy rail, bridges, shallow and deep foundations, insitu densification, geotechnical/
pavement-oriented construction claims analysis and dispute resolution.

Dan is a civil engineer with more than 15 years of experience in design and construction
projects. He acts as an expert in the areas of delay and quantum and has been appointed on
seven occasions.
As an expert, Dan has been cross-examined in litigation, arbitration and mediation and
has delivered sworn depositions. He evaluates and develops claims, determines merit and
quantum for disputed change orders, and provides litigation support services related to
delay, disruption and the calculation of damages. He has developed detailed CPM schedule
analyses, including analyzing as-planned and as-built schedules to determine entitlement
and allocate project delays. Dan’s experience also includes quantification of extended
performance costs and calculating loss of labor productivity.
