Grade 9A- OPPORTUNITY PAVILION GRADE 9 A
The GIHS’ Drop-Down Day which included activities and

group works on EXPO 2020 had a sub theme OPPORTUNITY

PAVILION. Through active participation and fun activities,
students of 9 A came to know more about EXPO 2020 and all the
pavilions. They comprehended all the career options and job
opportunities in EXPO 2020. Opportunity Pavilion reflects all the
job options for generation. The students prepared posters that
reflected UAE in future. They came to know what the future UAE
would look like.

The day has helped the students to identify the different
aspects on which the pavilions are built and the reason why Expo
2020 is considered to have a huge impact on the growth of economy
of UAE. The activity also helped the young learners to enrich their
knowledge about future UAE. The PowerPoint Presentation
shown in the class created awareness among the students about the
innovative and hardworking minds behind this Expo. By the end of
the day, students were asked to draw up conclusions about how
effective an Expo is to the economy and social status of the host
country.

MAJOR CLASS ACTIVITIES ON THE DAY:

● The students were asked to write summaries on

Opportunity Pavilion on sticky notes after the
presentation.
● Students expressed their opinions based on the topic.

● Students prepared posters on the topic EXPO 2020; they
expressed their interest in EXPO 202O through the posters.
