10 A students whose theme had been ‘Connecting Minds
Creating the Future’ related their theme to the given topic “What
colour is your jet pack” With an interactive session comprising
discussion, and displaying exhibits prepared by them.

TASK: Students shared their ideas and showcased careers of
the future. Students discussed the dream job that they aspire to do,
and they learnt about the skills they might need for their future
careers. These skills covered a variety of subject areas. The activities
made them understand more about jobs that will exist in the future,
career traits for future careers, their dream job and consider what
they need to achieve it.

Depending on the career colour chosen by them, the students
were divided into groups and students discussed in their groups the
jobs that they were given and had written down what they think
they would be doing in that job. They also discussed what education
and skills that career would require and what other careers are
closely related to that career and what would be the future outlook
for that chosen career.

By making use of the discussions and activities students
understood more about the jobs that will exist in the future.

All the teams actively participated and they expressed their
hopes for choosing their dream job in future and the skills they may
acquire to achieve their dream job.
