GRADE 12-A
The topic for the class 12 A was “People of Determination”

The objectives for the session were:-

• To make student aware about the People and Students of determination.
• To keep view of EXPO 2020 vision in theme with the People of

determination.
• To encourage students to be more interactive.
• To aid students in developing all aspect of their creativity and knowledge
without the help of their books.

The first part of the session was conducted through a presentation
by the teachers on people of determination. Students discussed on the
difficulty pertaining to the People of Determination. Students also

engaged themselves in group discussion spread across five groups.
Preceding the discussion, the students were asked to jot down their points

on post -it- notes and stick them on a presentation board depicting the

views of all students on People of determination.

As the major theme was EXPO 2020, all groups were asked to
discuss one aspect of EXPO 2020 and share it with the class. Students

also took aid of electronic devices for the discussion and completing the

task. The first part of the session concluded with an overall poster making
by all groups.

The second part of the session was engaged by Mrs. Merina and
Mrs. Huraira. The theme for the second part of the session was ‘Student

of determination’. Student of Determination that can be found in the
schools were: Visual Impairment, Hearing Impairment, Borderline

Intelligence (IQ), Behavioral Issues, Paraplegia

The session also focused on a discussion on different psychological

disorders suffered by students and held a debate on whether Students of
determination should have grace marks in their examination. This session

also successfully achieved all its pre- determined objectives and was a

refreshing change of environment for the students. The students’ feedback
included, “It was something new and we enjoyed it”, “It was fun to

change up.” The students showed great willingness in learning about the

country they are living in. The enthusiasm from students also indicated
that they were eager to have another Drop Down Day.
