GRADE 4-5 Waste Management
Students researched on the topic and presented their own ideas on what were the reasons for the increasing amount
of waste being generated and how to manage waste accordingly.
Students created good posters on 3R ‘S ( reduce,recycle, reuse) and especially the reuse of waste materials. This
was the most interesting part of the activity. They made pretty and useful things with those waste materials and
exhibited their hidden talents infront of the class.
Another creative work in which students were involved was model making . Students made innovative models
with waste materials and presented it in the class .
The Drop Down Day was a platform for students to work outside the 2 binds of the textbooks and be involved in
learnng through non traditional methods of learning.
