GRADE 7 Plastic Pollution
Drop Down Day offered the students a chance to strengthen their skills and helped them to
acquire a deeper learning experience. It also provided the students with the ability to be equipped
in valuable life skills which extended beyond the classroom context.
Students of grade 7E, 7F and 7G were given the topic of Plastic Pollution. They took part in the
activities with a lot of enthusiasm.
They came up with power point presentations, creative posters and catchy slogans to show the
bad effects of plastic pollution on the marine life; creative piece of writings to save the marine life
and the oceans were displayed. A class discussion took place where students came up with
innovative ideas to stop plastic pollution and save our earth.
It helped the students to build self-confidence and learn public speaking skills. It made learning
more creative, effective and relevant to the students.
This day was received very well by students as they were engaged in healthy discussions and came
up with ways to tackle the issue of plastic pollution. They demonstrated a world of possibilities
by showing their creativity and innovative ideas.
Overall, it was a fruitful day where students engaged in different activities.
