GRADE 10-B

Out of six topics – Future careers, the Circular Economy, Bio
Engineering, Future cities, Energy and Future mobility, under the sub title
“What is the colour of your Jetpack?” was assigned to 10B students. The

class was given time to think and talk about the dream job that they wish
to aspire and the skills they might need for their future careers.

A quiz program was conducted to identify their ‘career colour’ and
then to explore an example job for each colour. Group of students with the
similar area of interest were grouped together to promote a healthy
classroom environment with more opportunities to inculcate the self-
dependence as well as the team spirit. This was done with the intention to
engage them in Dream Job Exploration and to capture their thinking about
their own future, and what steps they will need to take to make it a reality.

The most expected, promising and flourishing Future Careers
mentioned below were discussed in the class.

1.Data Analyst

2. Architect / Engineer
3. Body Parts Maker

4. Space Pilot

5. Senior Manager

6. Nano-Medics Expert

7. GM Specialist.

Expected qualifications, key skills and the scope for those
professions were shared in groups and the students presented their
understanding in the form of group discussion, debate, flash cards & chart
presentation.

At the end of the day an interview was conducted in which the
students expressed their hope and possibilities to aspire their dream jobs and
the steps to be taken to make it a reality.
