User Instructions
NOTE:
If using a Remote I/O Unit, then the ASIM/DSIM configuration will be a
more collaborative effort; it will depend on the exact Remote I/O Unit
assembly, which analog signals are connected to which inputs, and the
translation from the analog signal to the actual Operating Condition being
measured.

6.3.3. Partial Discharge Input Configuration
The first part of the PD system configuration is to select the User Range sensitivity,
synchronization source and phase adjustment for each input. This is also where the BUS
delay is entered for a BUS PD system.
The ‘Detect Sensitivity’ function will run a series of single-shot measurements to find the
appropriate User Range for the current PD levels.
Single-shot PD measurements can also be run from this screen using the displayed phase
and settings.
NOTE:
Each input can be individually disabled by selecting the ‘Disabled’
sensitivity. When this is done, the User, Auto and Alert Ranges will all be
turned off for that input.
