Once you are satisfied with the settings, press the ‘Confirm’ button.

6.3.5. PD Trigger Configuration
The final part of the PD system configuration is to set PD Trigger Thresholds; enter the
Moderate, High and Very High thresholds for each of the inputs (Machine/Total System
Activity for BUS, C1/C2 for PDA and Endwinding/Total Slot for SSC). Press the ‘Load
Defaults’ button to set these thresholds according to the asset’s voltage rating and cooling
system.
NOTE:
The default thresholds are based on a statistical analysis of similar assets;
these settings may not be appropriate for your assets depending on their
specific PD activity. If the default thresholds are significantly different from
the current PD levels of the asset, contact Iris Power LP for PD threshold
recommendations.
The PD level thresholds are not optional.

NOTE:
If the thresholds are not set appropriately then the Trigger-based data
Archiving could become less effective.

NOTE:
As described in Section 4.8, the Alert behavior of the monitor is based on
the Very High PD threshold.
