6.4.2. Download via USB Drive

To download the data using a USB drive, insert the USB drive into the front panel of the
monitor; the panel indicators will show feedback information as the download progresses.

NOTE:
Due to the variability of installed monitoring technologies, it is difficult to
predict how large the Archive will be. In most cases 1.5GB of free space
on the USB drive is more than enough space to download an Archive.

• GuardII+ will automatically go offline during the download.
• The USB Memory indicator will start blinking green while the data transfer is in
progress.
• When the data transfer is complete, the indicator will turn off. Downloading the Archive
to a USB drive could take up to about 20 minutes, particularly if there are multiple
monitoring technologies in the GuardII+.

NOTE:
Be certain to remove the USB drive once the download is complete;
GuardII+ will remain offline until the drive is removed.

At a later time, insert the USB drive into the computer running IAM, and use the Import
Measurement function in IAM to import the data to the database.
