6.3.4. Operating Condition Trigger Configuration
The second part of the PD system configuration is to set Operating Condition Trigger
Thresholds; enter the Full Load and Reduced Load power thresholds, and then the Hot and
Cold asset temperature thresholds. Press the ‘Load Defaults’ button to set these thresholds
according to the asset’s active power and asset temperature ratings.
The User Defined Trigger (refer to Section 4.6.10) is also configured on this screen.
Enable it and select a time interval and minimum Qm threshold if desired.
NOTE:
When selecting a time interval for the User Defined Trigger, be sure to
take the number of sensors into account; it takes less than 20 minutes to
run a full set of PD measurements when there are 3 inputs, but a little over
an hour to run a full set when there are 12 inputs. So, setting a 30-minute
time interval when the monitor has 12 inputs running will not produce a
stable User Defined Trigger result.
