I.RATIONALE
Living with the people is one of the essential joys of live but even in the modern age some
of us still suffer from qualms in or dealings with others. Why this is so, is on account on our
personal background.
We come from various families as well as cultural backgrounds. Some of us come from the
affluent, some from less affluent - closely related to our financial and social status in our
respective communities. Our cultural background is often reflected even in the food we eat, the
clothes we wear, our values and attitudes. All this makes what life is to us. Thus when we leave
our towns to live in a dormitory, we carry with us our own life styles. Aside from qualms and fears
about how college life would be, we have to live with people.
In the dormitory, we form a community where there is love, understanding and respect
for one another regardless of religion, cultural or socio-economic background. Our relationship
^ can be wholesome and harmonious if we abide by the policies, rules and regulations set by the
^ management and the School authorities.
