2.To fence the immediate surroundings of the dormitory for safety reasons from gate
crushers;
3.To construct dirty kitchen outside the buildings at the same time serve as laundry and
drying area during rainy season; and
4.To purchase additional double deck beds to provide adequate beds required in each rooms.
III. Policies and Implementing Guidelines
1.The amount of Php350/month dormitory fee shall be collected from the occupants of IFSU
dormitories. Further, the following fees for use of various dormitory equipment and services shall be
collected:
a.Cell Phone battery chargingPhplO.OO/month
b.Flat ironPhpSO.OO/month
c.Electric FanPhp40.00/month
d.Washing MachinePhp50.00/month
e.Electric StovePhplOO.OO/month
2.The collection of Php350/month dormitory fee shall take effect on SY 2012-2013 to all
incoming dormitory occupants.
3.Collection from the dormitory fee shall be utilized to pay amortization of the building (for
the case of Potia Campus) and for the improvement of student's services through improved facilities.
4.Scheme of Payment shall follow the provision reflected in the Student Manual of the
University.
5.Any unused collections at the end of the year can be used for the same intended purpose the
following year with colatilia that amortization ended due to full payment shall be appropriated for its
intended purpose as warranted.
6.Use of funds shall follow the usual budgeting process considering the programs and
activities subject to the usual accounting and auditing rules and regulations and upon approval by the
University President.
