Questions and comments on the presentation:
With regard to the security of the Digital Certificate of Entitlement (DCE) by facial
recognition, Alan Blythe is keen to reassure pensioners, even though no application is
100% secure.
Regarding the supremacy of the English language, it should be noted that everything is
in two languages. The Fund is also working on the possibility of adding Spanish.
A comment was also concerning the lack of consideration given to policyholders living in
countries with low INTERNET coverage.
Mohammed Sebti provided information on the management of the UNJSPF Pension
Fund and pointed out that in 2023, after 15 years, Swiss pensioners received a 4.2%
increase to reflect the rise in the cost of living in Switzerland (appendix 2).
Item 9 Committee elections
The call for candidates made in autumn 2022 by separate letter, as indicated in the
bylaws /, generated 12 candidates for 14 positions. A vote was therefore not necessary

as has unfortunately been the case for several years now. Some applications could not
be accepted due to a lack of support. (Annexe 6 in the French version).
The list of Committee members (Annexe 7 in the French version) is included in the
folder of documents handed out in the meeting room. The Committee selects the
members of the bureau internally.
The Committee was approved by the meeting.
Item 10 Other business:
• Cécile Molinier presented the Swiss Forum for International Affairs (FSIP,
www.fspi.ch), which enables :
- Participation in monthly lunch debates
- Invite business partners and acquaintances
- Contributing to debates by expressing convictions in accordance with Chatham
House rules
- Affiliation with a network that includes the United Nations Office in Geneva,
intergovernmental and non-governmental organisations, multinational
companies, academic circles and the Swiss and Geneva authorities.
• A request has been made for more social and cultural activities.
• A request was made for questions to be sent out in advance so that more
answers could be provided.
• With regard to taxation in Switzerland, it has been confirmed that there is no
deduction for staff assessment.
• Naima Abdellaoui, (Syndicat UNOG), proposed a day dedicated to retirees.
