On the lid of the boxes are silver lettering that read our code names. I reach

for the box labeled The Glitch and open it. Inside is tight black leather jacket with

long sleeves, durable leggings and grippy combat boots. Also inside is a device for

my wrist, which kinda looks like a watch and an earpiece. The jacket has the

Departments emblem on the back in a slightly lighter shade of black.
“Hey guys check these out!” I shout.

“What is it?” Liam asks.
“Uniforms I think” I add.

Everyone finds their boxes and begins opening.
“Ugh, I hate Velocity! That doesn't even make sense!” Alex gripes as they

try to open their box which is the smallest out of all of them.
Inside Elaine's box is an identical uniform to mine except with no sleeves.

Helena has a similar top but has quarter length sleeves and is backless to allow for

her wings to be free. Caspian and Liam have similar outfits all though completely

different sizes. Inside each box is the communication device and weird watch.

Alex opens their box to find a dragon emblem sticker, the earpiece, and the same

watch as the rest of us.
“Wow, thanks,” Alex sarcastically complains, “Better than them giving me

nothing I guess.”

We all laugh at Alex's measly sticker compared to our entire uniforms.

“Good effort!” I laugh.
“Well to be fair it's not like they could build another gravity suit they're all

too stupid for that.” Liam says while gesturing to his head.
“Liam, build me a new suit but in black, so my silver and blue aesthetic

doesn't clash with y'all.” Alex says while putting their sticker on their left arm.
We all change into our uniforms and grab a weapon of our choice. I take a

look at my team, Elaine has already put her leather vest back on over her uniform
