Meet Gene Guerro, 92, Briteroom Electronics’s 60-Year Employee

                                                                                              has
Gene Guerro has been working at Briteroom for 60 years and nothing have ever
prevented him from going to work. Briteroom Electronics are going to be honoring him

next month for being the company’s longest-working employee. When he first started
college, Gene majored in economics. But economics just weren't very interesting to him,

so he changed to physics. “There was many exciting things to learn in every physics class.
In fact, physics still excites me today,” says Gene. “Everybody tell me I should retire.” And
I say, “Why should I do that? Watching TV all day isn’t for me. Half of my friends does

that, but they aren’t happy. Every day are exactly the same for them.” As Lucy Guerro says

about her father, “Work is my dad’s hobby.”
