Welcome to 18 AOCMP and 16 SEACOMP 2018! This year it will be held in Kuala Lumpur,
Malaysia, a favourite city of mine and a truly vibrant and growing city with lots to see and
do. I am particularly grateful to the local committee for putting in their tireless effort to
organise this event and also for IOMP and AFOMP’s strong support. Thank you very much!

It is my sincere wish that you would set aside the dates to attend the congress and to
benefit from the comprehensive array of topics and good speakers. For those of you with
posters and oral presentations, it will also be an important platform to present your
research ideas and findings with like-minded professionals. As the Asia-Oceania Medical
Physics communities meet, there will always be stimulating exchange of ideas and new
friendships forged while benefiting from the congress and making time to visit Malaysia.

Once again, on behalf of SEAFOMP, we would like to warmly welcome you to come for
this important Medical Physics congress for the region. Let’s promote Medical Physics
