A business letter of introduction is a way for companies to
introduce themselves to potential customers, partner businesses,
investors or other individuals or organisations to describe the
products or services they offer.
Hence, business letters of introduction can be categorised into:

a- Business-to-business letters, where a company writes to
another business to introduce new products and/or
services; particularly if a company's niche market is other
businesses, describe a possible co-operation or partnership
with other companies and ask for co-operation and
       investment opportunities.

b- Business-to-customer letters, where the business writes
to its customers or clientele to introduce new products or
services, give information about discounts and sales,
inform about the inauguration of a new branch/subsidiary,
and to mark the beginning of a new event or activity in
       business.

Therefore, letters of introduction can help in:
a- Creating a good impression with potential customers.
b- Providing information about products, services that add
value to customers and other stakeholders.
c- Shedding light on how these products or services can help
the market or other related businesses.
