a- A letter of enquiry is a type of business letters. So, it
   should be written in a formal way.

b- Its sentences should be concise, comprehensible and have
   one clear idea for each paragraph.

c- The subject of the letter should be written in a precise way;
   as a mention of what will be discussed in the letter and the
   reason of writing it.

d- A salutation should be written at the beginning of the
   letter.

e- The sender’s contact data e.g. phone number, postal
   address or e-mail address should be included at the
   beginning of the letter.

f- In the first paragraph, it is recommended to introduce
   yourself briefly by writing for instance the position you
   have, and the institution or the company in which you
   work.

g- In the second paragraph, you should briefly refer to the
   purpose of your writing and how you will utilise
   information and data you are asking about.

h- List all information you need to have i.e. you can express
   your enquiry with a group of questions or as a list of
   specific items of information.
