JAM on the Marsh Curator, Daniel Cook

This year's main commission was highly unusual, involving a libre st, Grahame Davies, and 2 composers,
Tom Harrold and Stuart Beatch, working on one piece for choir and solo cello. Voices of Vimy was a
tremendous success, performed to a sell-out audience at St Nicholas Church, New Romney by the BBC
Singers and Jamie Walton (cello), conducted by Daniel Cook. Rarely has a JAM premiere had such a
profound impression on its audience. The piece will receive its Canadian premiere in Edmonton on 12th
November, performed by Pro Coro Canada, under Michael Zaugg, and its London premiere on 22nd March
2018 at St. Bride's Church, Fleet Street, performed by The Chapel Choir of Selwyn College, Cambridge and
         Molly Parsons-Gurr, under Michael Bawtree.
