Molly Parsons-Gurr, Hythe Simon Hogan, London
And so, JAM's year of performances and events is over, but 2018 is just around the corner! Our annual
nd
showcase of Music of Our Time will be on 22 March at St Bride's Church, Fleet Street, when Michael
th
Bawtree conducts the 15 anniversary performance of Jonathan Dove's The Far Theatricals of Day and the
London premiere of Tom Harrold and Stuart Beatch's Voices of Vimy, both commissioned by JAM alongside
new works submi ed in our Call for Music. Each year we receive hundreds of works for choir, brass and
organ. The JAM Panel then meets and creates a programme of music featuring a handful of these
submissions alongside our latest commission and one from a previous year. Performers confirmed along
with Michael Bawtree include The Chapel Choir of Selwyn College, Cambridge, Onyx Brass, Molly Parsons-
Gurr (cello) and Simon Hogan (organ) plus a quartet of soloists including Claire Seaton and Ashley Catling.
