Grace Drivers

In many of our churches some teach and portray grace as a
docile virtue which in itself does everything for the
believer. Church programmes are held almost every day
leaving little or no room for believers to practice what they
have learnt, and engage in diligent work in their chosen
fields. It seems we have a generation on our hands who will
rather stay in church and say AMEN to prayers than go to
work and prove the grace of God received in their fields.
Jesus received grace and went about doing good. He did not
remain on the mountain or wilderness after He received
His measure of grace. He engaged it in diligent work. The
undeniable truth is always that grace works with diligence.
There are no two ways about it, friend.

                                           Grace Driver 2: Challenges

Define ‘challenge’ as a test of somebody’s abilities in a
stimulating way, and you would not be wrong. The
moment you can see a challenge in this good light and as a
call to do something about a situation, then you would
begin to appreciate the good that challenges are meant to
bring into one’s life. When we face various forms of
challenges in life and learn to turn them over to the Lord,
we give Him opportunity to supply us needed grace to go
through and overcome our challenges. This is why Apostle
Paul urges us to “come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we
may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.”
