Grace Drivers
Believers must recognize that grace is not enough to
accomplish things for the Lord. Grace can be regarded as
fuel. A vehicle needs fuel to convey people and goods from
one place to another, but fuel alone cannot get the job done.
It also needs a vehicle in good condition to move around.
Just as with fuel and a vehicle, grace needs a diligent human
partner to achieve great things in any field. Studying the life
of Jesus in Scriptures it would be observed that the
moment He received grace there was no idle moment with
Him thereafter. His record in Luke 4:1-2, 13-15 reads,
“Then Jesus, being filled with the Holy Spirit,
returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit
into the wilderness, being tempted for forty days
by the devil. And in those days He ate nothing,
and afterward, when they had ended, He was
hungry...Now when the devil had ended every
temptation, he departed from Him until an
opportune time. Then Jesus returned in the power
of the Spirit to Galilee, and news of Him went out
through all the surrounding region. And He
taught in their synagogues, being glorified by all.”
And this was not a one-time thing; diligent work became
the life pattern of the Lord as Acts 10:38 testifies. “How
God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and
with power, who went about doing good and healing all who
were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” From
