GRACE, Exploring Its Riches

Friend, do not make light of the divine dealings in your
life. When you get into inspired practices and
operations which make you look strange in the midst
of your contemporaries and yet, you feel at peace with
God in your heart, don’t be in a hurry to discard what is
unique to you for what is common to your friends and
environment. It may be that your unique grace for
your unique assignment is being developed in your
                                    desert.

                               3. A Place Where Your Capacity Is Stretched and
Dredged: The desert or wilderness is not a
comfortable place, but a place of consecration and deep
divine communion. While you may go through
natural struggles, your spiritual dimension may be
experiencing great awakening. See how Paul describes
                                    it in 2 Corinthians 4:16-18.

“Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our
outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is
being renewed day by day. For our light affliction,
which is but for a moment, is working for us a far
more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while
we do not look at the things which are seen, but at
the things which are not seen. For the things
which are seen are temporary, but the things
which are not seen are eternal.”
