Certificate in

Esthetics

DURATION:1 year or 2 semesters

The Certificate in Esthetics programme is designed to train persons in the theory
and practice of body care, the knowledge of beauty care products and the
ethical conduct of the beauty care professional.
Students may gain the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) Nail
Technology Level 2 and the Caribbean Vocational Qualification (CVQ)
Massage Therapy Levels 2 and 3.

At the end of the course of study, students may participate in an industrial
attachment for a period of six weeks.

Graduates from this programme may seek careers as: Estheticians,
Manicurists, Pedicurists, Make-up Artists, Beauty Therapists and Nail
Technicians.
