Diploma in
Garment Technology
DURATION: 2 years or 4 semesters
The Diploma in Garment Technology programme is designed with
both practical and theoretical components. It trains persons who are
desirous of being employed in the garment industry or working as
an entrepreneur. This Diploma could also serve as a foundation for
studies in fashion design and related fields.
At the end of the programme, students may gain work
experience through an industrial attachment.
Graduates of this programme may seek careers as: Fashion
Design Assistants, Seamstresses, Pattern Cutters and Sewing
Machinists.
