Group discussion:
Employers are looking for people who have the skills to do the job and can contribute to the
organization:

 Do you have any unique skills outside the job requirements that can assist the company?
o Speaking another language, past job experience in a certain field, additional
certification or experience with equipment, etc.

 Good communication skills
o You can communicate with customers, co-workers, management, vendors. You can
work well on a team or independently.
 The ability to teach and train others
o Can you pass on your knowledge to others? Can you share information, help others
to excel?

 Ideas that make things more efficient
o You contribute ideas, solve problems, look at something from a fresh viewpoint,
share your solutions

 Positive interaction with customers and coworkers
o You make the company look good when you meet with individuals and customers.
You can work on a team and contribute to a group effort. You can work together
with others
