of the pamphlet – Identifying Transferable Skills.

Overview –
This pamphlet overviews the importance of identifying and tracking individual skills and abilities
and how they impact your career. Types of skills are explored, and a list of personal
transferable skills is created. How to choose experiences and jobs that advance your career is
also discussed.

Key points in this pamphlet are:
 Identifying your experience, skills, and abilities
 Defining Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSAs) and competencies

 Defining hard, soft, and transferable skills
 Identifying your transferable skills
