Coverbind Usage & Supply Order Guideline
Introduction to the Equipment:
®
The COVERBIND 5000 is a powerful, manually operated binder designed to meet any
document format demand with spine lengths up to 14 7/8”. Bind documents as thick as 2”, soft
covers, hard covers; this binder will bind them all and do it stronger and more effectively than
any comparable manual binding system on the market, up to 15 documents per minute.
If you need to remove, replace or add sheets, simply reheat the binding. With the wide range of

COVERBIND covers, your business presentations, reports, proposals, statements, manuals,
etc, will always look and feel as professional as the content and message of your document.

Booklet Assembly Instructions:
The Coverbind covers have a spine of glue, so these quick tips should help for assembling your
booklet:
Measure the booklet pages by using the built-in spine indicator located on the Cooling Rack
(image 2 above).
Using the measurement results, select the appropriate Coverbind cover. (All sizes are
marked on the side of each box.)
Insert the pages into the cover.
Tap all sides of the booklet on a flat surface to ensure that all pages fall in line with one
another.
Ensure all pages are within the cover on all sides.
Using the Coverbind Machine:
Once you have the booklet(s) assembled, you will place it within the Coverbind Machine with
the glue side touching the metal plate.
