Document Management Printing onto Avery Templates
Troubleshooting & Additional Options
Microsoft Word is great because it allows us to pull the exact template matching the current Avery card
stock we have in house. There may be times where the previously mentioned Avery card stock is not
available in house, but you have something similar. In this case, you can follow these steps to ensure
that printing goes smoothly:
1. Note the Avery Template number on the box of Avery card stock you have available to utilize
2. Go into Microsoft Word
3. Go to the ‘Mailings’ tab
4. Click the ‘Labels’ button
5. Click the ‘Label’s tab
6. Click the ‘Options’ button
7. Be sure the ‘Label Vendors’ drop down matches the vendor card stock you have on hand
8. Scroll through the Product Number listing until you find your Avery Template number from the box
of card stock & click on it
9. Click ‘OK’
10. Click ‘New Document’
11. Your new document will now be setup to the exact dimensions of your Avery card stock
12. Fill in the information you are wanting to print into the document
13. Load the Avery card stock into the printer
14. Hit ‘Print’
