“My hands noticed.”
“I didn’t want to stick
my finger into it!”
Funky, spiky, very busy.

Hands, fingers and materials create new and intriguing configurations when they come together, reminiscent of
Tim Ingold’s observation that materials are in a constant state of formation and becoming, of joining together with
other forces to create ‘meshworks’.
Each finger has a repertoire of movements that modifies the way the hand encounters things~objects~materials.
Hands, fingers, things~objects~materials and emotions are interconnected.
