“Things change
when they come together…”
When we bring different things together, we realise that there are
connections - similarities between things that initially appear to be very
different. Gregory Bateson defined this sensitivity to the patterns that
connect as aesthetics; an ecological awareness. In Reggio Emilia the
aesthetic dimension and epistemology are understood to be inseparable.
