LETTER TO THE GRADUANDS

Dear Doveland Ambassadors,

It is with great pride I write this letter to you.

As the years go by and the hurdles of life that you may come across I hope you remember all you
have been taught.

I urge you to always connect to the Doveland Core Values and stay true to our motto of 'Soaring to
Excellence.' Remember you were brought up to be a leaders in all that you do.

Let these core values: Excellence, Obedience, God Fearing, Love and Care, Discipline, Honesty
and Hardwork be your guiding compass. Continue to do the right thing, even when nobody is
looking. Be kind to people and strive to understand other peoples' perceptive. Never exhibit a
sense of entitlement, because it is hard to be grateful if you feel people owe you.

It is my prayer that, years from now, when you are all adults, the mere mention of Doveland
International Schools will cause you to reminisce old friendships, conjure fond memories that will
put a smile on your face.

I want you to know that you have impacted positively on the school and I wait to hear of all the
exploits you all will get on to do.

“So my dear graduating class', as you embark on a new chapter of your life, always remember that
learning does not stop inside the classroom.

As Henry L. Doherty said, “Be a student as long as you still have something to learn, and this will
mean all your life.” Every experience in life will teach you something. You just need to keep an
open mind and open heart to see what lessons the world has to offer.
