load. If the student under probationary status fails to meet the GPA of 1.75 in the
succeeding semesters, he/she will be advised to shift to another course which
requires a GPA of less than 1.75.
C. Students on other Board Courses with a GPA of less than 2.00 are subjects to
probationary status in the following semester and are deloaded of not more than 3
units from the regular load. If the student under probationary status fails to meet
the GPA of 2.00 in the succeeding semesters, he/she will be advised to shift to
another course which requires a GPA of less than 2.00.
D. Students with one or more two failing grades are subject to probationary status
in the following semester and are advised to enroll a load of less than 1 or 2 subjects.
E. Students under probationary status who obtain another failing grade in the
succeeding semester, he/she will be advised to shift to another course or to transfer
to another school.
F. Students in Non-Board Courses and TESDA Qualifications who obtained a GPA
of less than 2.25 are subject to probationary status and advised to enroll a load less
than 3 units from the regular load. Students under probationary status who obtain
another failing grade in the succeeding semester, are advised to shift to another
course or to transfer to another school.
G. Students with three (3) or more failures within the semester are subject to a
Leave of absence for a semester or a year.
4. Shifting to other programs
A. A student who has been disqualified from one program due to scholastic
deficiency and who wishes to shift to another program or course shall be
admitted upon the approval of the Guidance Counselor, Program Coordinator,
and Registrar.
B. A student who wishes to shift to another program or course that requires a board
examination should have a GPA of at least 2.0 with no grade below 2.25 for
minor subjects and no grade below 2.0 for major subjects. He/She must also
pass the qualifying examination given by the program coordinator.
C. Any student who transferred to another school and wishes to return / enroll in
the college should have a GPA of 1.75 for BSN; 2.0 for other Board Courses;
2.25 for Non-Board Courses and TESDA Qualification; and 2.5 for Vocational
and other 2-Year Courses in the school last attended.
