F. Rules on Scholastic Delinquency
A. Disciplinary Action
The Director for Student Affairs supervises student behavior and investigates all
reported cases of misbehavior; ascertains the facts and imposes the proper sanction
for minor infractions of the rules of conduct.
For more serious cases, due process is provided to ensure justice and does entail
legal counsel for the students concerned. The following sanctions may be imposed
for irresponsible behavior.
1. Reprimand. The sanction imposed by way of admonishing the offender with
warning that repetitions of the same will be dealt with accordingly.
2. Suspension. The offender may be refused admission for a day or number of
days.
3. Exclusion. The offender may be allowed to finish the semester or term he has
enrolled in but is not allowed to enroll in the college during the succeeding
semester.
4. Dismissal. This is an extreme form of disciplinary administrative sanction
whereby an offender is immediately dismissed from the college during the
term.
5. Expulsion. This is extremes form of disciplinary sanction which bars the
students from enrollment in all schools. The penalty of expulsion shall be
valid and effective with the approval of the Board of Trustees.
Other Sanctions.
1. Payment of Actual Damage
2. Exclusion from extra-curricular activities.
3. Disqualification from holding and seeking any position either by election or
appointment.
4. Cancellation of Scholarship
5. Denial of Graduation
6. Stripping of Honors and Awards
For imposition of penalties, sanction shall consider the following circumstances
1. Previous record of the students
2. Inherent gravity of the offenses
3. Position of the aggrieved person
