And now we are going to look at four additional prepositions that are
combined with pronouns. These have a slightly different sound scheme
when conjugated. Conjugation of these prepositions is similar to
conjugation in plural.

Sons = ‫ָב ִנים‬

‫( = ָבני‬My sons) ‫ה ָב ִנים ֶשּ ִלי‬

* Most people in Israel pronounce it as ‫ – ֵא ֵלי ֶכם‬ELEYKHEM
** Most people in Israel pronounce it as ‫ – ֵא ֵלי ֶהם‬ELEYHEM

Examples: ?‫ַאּתה רֹו ֶצה ל ַצל ֵצל ֵאלי‬
?‫מ ַתי ַאּתה רֹו ֶצה לבֹוא ֵא ֵלינּו‬
‫ אל‬Do you want to call me?
When do you want to come to us? ?‫ֶאפׁשר לס ֹמְך ָע ֶליָך‬
.‫חׁ ַשבּתי ע ֵלי ֶכם ֶאתמֹול‬
‫ על‬Can I trust you?
I thought about you yesterday.

Note: ..‫ = ְלצ ְל ֵצל ְל‬to call someone (on the phone),
I called Moshe - ‫ִצ ְלצ ְל ִתי ְלמ ֶשה‬

However when conjugated with a pronoun, the preposition ..‫ל‬
changes to preposition ...‫ ֶאל‬.
I called him - ‫ִצ ְלצ ְל ִתי לו ֵא ָליו‬
