Time Words – Future Tense
Before we actually move to the future tense, let's first get familiar with
the time words associated with the future in order to be able to make
correct sentences.
Tomorrow ָּמ ָּחר
Day after tomorrow ָּמ ֳח ָּר ַת ִיים
In Hebrew, in order to say: next week, next month and so on, we
use the word ַה ָּבאfor masculine or ַה ָּב ָּאהfor feminine.
It means – "the coming".
Example: Next week - ַב ָּשבּו ַע ַה ָּבא
בPay attention, in Hebrew we have to use the preposition with the
noun.
Month ֹּח ֶדׁש
Next month ַב ֹּח ֶדׁש ַה ָּבא
Year ׁ ָּש ָּנה
Next year
ַב ָּש ָּנה ַה ָּב ָּאה
When we want to say: in a week, in a month and so on, we use the
preposition ְבעֹוד.
Example: ְבעֹוד ׁ ָּשבּו ַע
