While speaking with Charles “Chase” Keen from the band, he mentioned that there was no great
story to how they named themselves and that they were all about the music instead of the name. In
a world of carbon copies, I feel this is refreshing and straightforward honesty, which is how I also
describe their music.

Now it is time for a little history…OLC formed in November 2015. They are a four-piece band whose
lineup includes: Chase Keen (vocals), Brett Welch (guitar), Blake Jones (bass), and drummer Ben
Schnitz. They first released a demo “tape” in March of 2016. Later that same year, they released an
EP, “Letters Lost.” In 2017, they took a big step forward in establishing themselves by touring
regionally.

Living in Ft. Wayne, they have been able to easily reach cities such as Chicago, Toledo,
Indianapolis, and others into Michigan. They find Michigan very attractive and receptive to their stuff.
They actually played a house party in the Kalamazoo, Michigan area that featured a crowd of over
300 people.
