When my friend Mark Martinez, band manager, contacted me about his
band from Tucson, Arizona, he told me that these guys were starting to
make some noise in the music community. I was intrigued and needed to
look into this band.

I did some quick research and this is what I learned…THEN WHEN is a
Tucson-based band that melds the early progressive rock influences of
Miguel Monroy (percussion) and CJ Ruze (bass guitar/vocals), with the
alternative and metal background of Dan Mayhew (guitar/vocals).
Together, these talented musicians create a unique style of original music
that is heavy, without pounding eardrums to a fine paste, and progressive,
without forcing the listener to analyze the music to appreciate it.
